I recoup best on the couch watching podcasts and TV shows that I’m behind on… often they are food related which inevitably end up with killer cravings.
Today I was couch ridden by a terrible sore throat and after 4 pots of tea with honey and I rewatched all of the CoverVersions.TV episodes
The episode that made me laugh the most:

Challenged by @Lokified of CoverVersions.TV I took to the kitchen to make something to nourish my sick self wearing glasses! and satiate a craving for biscuits.
Funny enough, the biscuit craving turned into a few hours standing over the stove making Corn Chowder and Chicken Pot Pie with a biscuit topping, I think my body was in serious need of starch and carbs!
Both recipes came from America’s Test Kitchen: Family Cookbook, you can find the corn chowder recipe outlined here and the chicken pot pie recipe here.
Here’s the result… it was delicious and I’m already feeling better!
